On its pages you will find stories to warm your heart stories to bring a tear to your eye and other events perhaps long forgotten such as the Eisteddfod for the Welsh troops held at the Skating Rink on the Embankment on Easter Monday 1916. What would add to it tremendously though are stories information pictures and memories from OVL readers family archives. Perhaps your family had Welsh soldiers billeted with them a Welsh soldier married a member of your family someone you know helped at the Christmas treat for the Welsh troops attended one of their sporting events or concerts or had letters from them after they had left Bedford for active service overseas Sharing your stories and pictures would greatly contribute to making the story the website tells as comprehensive as possible.
